School Supply Drive

This Missions Committee is once again sponsoring a school supply
drive in August. Please consider buying a little extra for those less
fortunate.

Kids 2010 Rally Day KICK-OFF!

Aug 29, 9:45-11am; Sign-up for- Spirit Time, AWANA, First Decade Choir, Praise Band, etc. SNACKS, GAMES, BALLOONS, and PRIZES!

Altar Flowers

There are many dates available: Aug 22, 29. Sept 5, Oct 24 Cost is $25. Please, return vases as we are down to 1 vase.(Vases are to be left at church-take flowers home in cans)

Pray for Our Country

Mon Nights 6:30pm-7:30pm; starting July 19. Anyone who wants to pray for America is welcome. Please bring your Bible. Week 1 will focus on Ps. 51, personal preparation to become prayer warriors. Journey to Freedom

Pastor Fran & Chet will be leading another Journey to Freedom class. It is co-ed & will begin the 2nd or 3rd week in Sept. Cost of materials is $85, payment plans can be arranged. Please let Pastor Fran know as soon as possible. It is a wonderful way to grow & heal past hurts.

Water the Flowers – Care for Water Fountain

Youth, Adults or families that would like to help us water the flowers, landscaped area and put water in the water fountain, call office 704-821-8494.(4 volunteers each water once a week)

Bring coins. Jar in Narthex. Money goes to fix air conditioning.

Stephen Ministry Applications

We are now accepting applications (in the Narthex) for anyone interested in serving the Lord in a 1-on-1 caring ministry. There is 50 hrs of training; classes will begin in the fall. Questions? Contact Michele Bender 704-231-2815.
