Youth Group

Deeper Faith Christmas Cultural - from 5pm to 6:25pm then you can join your family for the choir performances.

Cancer Survivors & Caregivers Group

Mon, Dec 13th @ 7:00; meet at Kathi Roberts house (2007 Sugar Mill, Indian Trail)  This is a group for all of our cancer survivors and their caregivers.  See Mary Louise Thomas or Kathi Roberts for more information.

Secret Sister Party

Fri, Dec 17th @ 7pm at Sharon Eichler’s house!  Bring up to 3 ornaments for the ornament exchange and a snack item to share!

Medical Aid For Cholera Epidemic in Haiti

The Hospital @ Eben Ezer Mission in Haiti needs supplies for the cholera epidemic & other ongoing needs. SOJ will be sending a box to them the week before Christmas. Any supplies you donate can help save lives.Please put in the box in the narthex/ give to Mary Louise Thomas. Needed supplies: water purification tablets, sterile & nonsterile gloves, Betadine & antibiotic ointment, bandaging supplies, cotton, gauze, tape.Other supplies they need that DO NOT go into the box, but need to go directly to Mary Louise/ Karen Weiner (in the office): all types of acetaminophen & anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprophen), vitamins, antibiotics (doxycyclin, etc), NaCl & KCl ampules.  If you have access to any of these please contact Mary Louise directly & do not leave in the box.
