Christmas Cantata Performances

Sun, Dec 12th @ 7pm (with special prelude by 1^st Decade Choir @ 6:30pm) and Sun, Dec 19th @ 11am.

Sat. rehearsals (choir, instruments, narrators, sound): Tues. practice on Tues. Dec. 7 instead of Thurs. the 9th.

Medical Aid For Cholera Epidemic in Haiti

The Hospital @ Eben Ezer Mission in Haiti needs supplies for the cholera epidemic & other ongoing needs. SOJ will be sending a box to them the week before Christmas. Any supplies you donate can help save lives.Please put in the box in the narthex or give to Mary Louise Thomas. Needed supplies: water purification tablets, sterile & nonsterile gloves, Betadine & antibiotic ointment, bandaging supplies, cotton, gauze, tape.  

Other supplies they need that DO NOT go into the box, but need to go directly to Mary Louise or Karen Weiner (in the office): all types of acetaminophen & anti-inflammatory drugs (ibuprophen), vitamins, antibiotics (doxycyclin, etc), NaCl & KCl ampules.  If you have access to any of these please contact Mary Louise directly & do not leave in the box.
